Food for Stress Relief

Up to 14% of the American population claims to be stressed, filled with worry, and lacking in happiness and enjoyment. This is according to the surveys taken by the Gallup Poll in January 2012.

Ouch! That's a lot of unhappy people ... and those are the only people who are willing to admit that they are stressed and unhappy! In actuality, 95% of doctor visits in this country are related to stress.

Luckily, you can eat your way out of stress. No, we're not talking about stress eating. We are talking about eating food for stress relief.

Food for Stress Relief
To choose the best food for stress relief, you have to first know which vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals will help you get out of stress. Here's a short list of stress-relieving vitamins and minerals:

- magnesium
- B vitamins, especially B-12
- coenzyme Q10
- chlorophyll

What's really interesting about these substances is that not only do they relieve stress, but your body also uses them up much more quickly when you are stressed. Basically, when you are stressed, your body needs these vitamins and minerals, while at the same time not having enough of them!

Luckily, you can add them to your daily regimen easily, either in the form of whole foods or in the form of supplements. Some of the foods that are rich in most or all of these substances include:

- oysters
- halibut
- nuts and seeds
- blue-green algae
- spinach and leafy greens

If you are not under a great deal of stress, adding these foods into your diet can keep you healthy and stress-free. However, if you are already stressed, many physicians recognize that simply eating more healthy foods won't be totally effective. At this point, supplementing with therapeutic doses is more helpful.

Stress Relief in a Packet
If you are stressed, the last thing you want to do is add a complicated nutritional plan to your daily schedule. One of the best ways to supplement your diet with beneficial vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals recommended above is to add Simplexity Essentials and Super Q10 to your diet. The Essentials contain blue green algae for chlorophyll and magnesium, probiotics for generating B vitamins, and enzymes for better absorption of supplements. Super Q10 provides the necessary coenzyme Q10 for stress relief and better energy.

Best of all, taking one to two packets of Simplexity Essentials plus one to two capsules of Super Q10 takes about 5 seconds. Easy enough ... and well worth the resulting stress relief!
