
Siberian Ginseng Root (eleuthero root): This warming herb is also a great immune system stimulant and can give you an extra boost of energy on cold mornings.
Cinnamon: This spice has long been added to mulling spices and hot cider. No wonder! It was incredible warming properties and also helps you resist disease and infection.
Ginger Root: Known as the "Herb of the Gods" to some Native American tribes, Ginger is a warming herb that also has been shown to kill the influenza virus.
Chicory: This herb, which grows abundantly in this area, warms the body as well as well as helping with digestive problems, skin eruptions and constipation.
Cardamom: This herb has been used since ancient times in coffee, as a digestive aid and as a teeth whitener. It's also a great warming herb!
Cloves: In addition to warming, this herb fights intestinal parasites, fungi and bacteria. Ancient Chinese emperors held cloves in their mouth to mask bad breath!
